Projects
Below are some of the web projects I have been involved with over the past two years. Mostly I manage the library's web page but I have also done some side projects.
NASIG Conference Site 2009 I was the co-webmaster for the conference website for the 2009 conference. This link goes to the latest conference site since they archived the old site.
Southeastern Innovative Users Group I served as the webmaster for SIUG from 2006-2009 and created this site.
Guide to Library Research A site I created for work (just the layout, flash, and images not the content)
An interactive map I created for work (I had help with the content and the grunt work) Thanks to Torstein Honsi for High Slide. It makes me look good. Click on the different locations for information.
Robeson County Humane Society I created this site but I have limited involvement with it these days. I basically update it a few times a month. Now someone else took over and has made a number of changes, but the general theme is still there.
UNCP Mary Livermore Library I've been maintianing this site for a year now. I've been updating pages here and there, mostly fixing the behind the scenes problems. I would make major changes to the page but I'm stuck using the university's style sheet which has many limitations. I'm currently doing a usage study to get feedback from patrons to help increase ease of use within those limitations.
Washington Park Elementary School I started working on this site for a local elementart school, but then the county decide to outsource all their schools to a company, which made more sense than individual sites anyway. I still provide assistance with the school's webmaster though.
Social Work Theory A quick frame I threw together for a faculty member in social work. I'm still waiting on the content.
Emergency Contact Form This was created from an open access css I found. The University then scrapped the program due to lack of funding.
A Survey I created and hosted for the Reference Desk, when I was just learning how to program in PHP and SQL.
Another survey As you can see I've been reusing the same template. Again hosted by me. I host about a dozen or so library applications.
Shawn Jacobs Studios My first real website which I created for a local artist.
